This release supersedes the June 2025 release and brings important fixes to the step sequencer FX, as well as improved performance when snapshots are fired using the Source delay action. No new features since L-ISA Controller 2025.1.
New features in L-ISA Controller 2025.1
- New software and firmware version numbering.
- Sound Spaces:
- New concept of Space: distinct area where the Soundscape is rendered around a specific origin.
- Spatialize objects in the main space while rendering them simultaneously in custom additional spaces (e.g. Control room, VIP room, or a DJ booth) with different speaker layouts.
- During the show, listen to solo or Scale Simulation in a Space without affecting the other Spaces.
- Support systems:
- Handle all subwoofers and fills directly from the Speakers page.
- Source Trims:
- Adjust each source contribution for a specific Space or Support systems.
- Room Engine:
- Now feeds all speaker groups and downmixes.
- New broadcast downmixes:
- Stereo and mono downmixes are now dedicated and optimized for broadcast.
- New modes added for binaural downmix:
- Monitoring: Select this mode to precisely binauralize the speaker outputs rendered for a chosen Space.
- Broadcast: Select this mode to optimize the sound quality for headphones listening, agnostically from any speaker layout.
- Updated 3D view.
- Milan Manager replaces Hive as the embedded AVDECC controller.
