Beijing Global Audiovisual deploys L-Acoustics L Series and K Series concert sound system for 10,000 fans in the Mercedes-Benz Arena, supplied by Rightway Audio Consultants (RAC)
SHANGHAI, China – February 2025 – The five-member Chinese pop sensation WayV launched into the Asian music scene when they won the ‘Best New Asian Artist’ award at South Korea’s 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) and followed up the year after with ‘Favourite Asian Artist’ award as well as the ‘Asia Celebrity Award’ at the Asia Artist Awards (AAA) 2020. The band has earned multiple #1 singles on Apple Music in a dozen Asian countries in the last five years.
To mark their release of their latest mini album, “Give Me That,” the band launched their ON THE Way Tour, electrifying 10,000 fans in Shanghai’s Mercedes-Benz Arena late last year. The sold-out show launched WayV’s first-ever solo concert tour, and it showcased the dynamic stage presence of its five members as they performed their hit songs on a best-in-class L-Acoustics L Series concert sound system.

The arena concert production featured a main L/R system of three L-Acoustics L2 and one L2D per side, utilising L-Acoustics’ innovative Progressive Ultra-dense Line Source (PULS) technology. Two arrays of twelve L-Acoustics K2 and three K3 speakers provided side-fill coverage, while four pairs of L-Acoustics Kara II speakers delivered front-fill. Twenty-four KS28 subwoofers, ground-stacked in front of the stage, delivered extended low-end power. Six L-Acoustics Kara and twelve X12 coaxial speakers handled stage monitoring, ensuring the five members received precise audio feedback throughout their high-energy performance.
The L Series system provided by L-Acoustics Certified Provider Distributor Rightway Audio Consultants (RAC) offered unprecedented power-to-size and weight ratios compared to conventional line sources. It allowed the Beijing Global Audiovisual Culture Development Co. team to be efficient and errorless, increasing the speed of deployment within load-bearing limits and further ensuring the safety of the audio crew.
