LONDON, January 2025 — The Roof Gardens, a legendary West London landmark, has reemerged as a cutting-edge social club, featuring a bespoke L-Acoustics professional sound system that sets new standards for audio excellence in stunning venues.

Perched 100 feet above London’s bustling streets, The Roof Gardens has been a constant in the city’s ever-changing skyline for over eight decades. Now, with a renewed mission and purpose, this nearly acre-wide Art Deco oasis opens an exciting new chapter. Infused with fresh energy, The Roof Gardens celebrates London’s modern diversity while honouring its rich history rooted in community and cultural evolution.

 At the heart of this transformation lies a state-of-the-art L-Acoustics professional sound system, meticulously designed to create an unparalleled auditory experience.”

Tasked with bringing the audio vision to life was L-Acoustics Certified Provider, Marquee AV, already well-known for their work in beautiful venues throughout the United Kingdom. Their challenge: to design a system versatile enough to complement the diverse areas of The Roof Gardens while maintaining the venue’s aesthetic integrity.

The result is a technologically ambitious yet discrete and sophisticated installation that covers eight distinct spaces within The Roof Gardens:

• The Biba Bar features four A10 Wide speakers and two KS21 subwoofers, for a powerful, yet controlled soundscape.
• In the intimate Biba Snug, three X8 speakers and an SB15m subwoofer deliver crisp, enveloping audio.
• The expansive Sun Pavillion & Bar area comes alive with nineteen X8 speakers, nine SB10i subwoofers, and two Syva colinear speakers, ensuring uniform coverage across this dynamic space.
• The Spanish Garden, a verdant escape, is subtly enhanced by fourteen 5XT speakers, six SB10i subwoofers, and twelve X4i, blending seamlessly with the natural ambiance.
• Outdoor areas haven’t been overlooked, with twenty X8 speakers gracing the 6th and 7th Floor Terraces, immersing guests in crystal-clear sound under the open sky.
• Throughout the Walled Garden, Esme’s area, and the 7th floor dining space, an additional fifty-six compact 5XT speakers and sixteen SB10i subwoofers blend into the décor to ensure that every corner of The Roof Gardens resonates with premium audio quality.

This extensive system is powered by L-Acoustics LA4X and LA2Xi amplified controllers, ensuring flawless performance across all zones.
